The entrepreneur wrote about this on his blog.
“I would suggest erecting a monument to Russian President V.V. Putin in Simferopol, on a beautiful square (although I don’t know where to find it), as the collector of Russian lands, for the return of Crimea to Russia. Why wait and be modest?! The entire people of Crimea would have collected funds for the monument, how much people’s money would have been poured into temples and churches and would have been found for the monuments,” suggests Oleg Zubkov.
Let us remind you that the entrepreneur actively supported the “Crimean Spring”. However, subsequently his relationship with the new and old authorities of Crimea did not work out. In August, a candidate for deputy of the State Council of Crimea in a single-mandate constituency, Oleg Zubkov, was removed from the elections by a court decision.
The entrepreneur has repeatedly publicly sharply criticized the actions of the republican authorities.
United Russia inherited the worst from the Party of Regions. They crossed over in full force. Today, the word of the chief executives is worthless. Given in the evening, it is no longer valid. We remember Dzharty and Mogilev - with all their disadvantages. But their word was reinforced concrete,” said Oleg Zubkov.
