Yushchenko’s wife complains that the criminal case for the “Hospital of the Future” scam was initiated by “Russian World”
A criminal case has been opened against the charitable foundation of former President Viktor Yushchenko's wife, Kateryna Yushchenko announced on her social media page.

She recalls that 10 years ago her foundation began raising funds for the “Children’s Hospital of the Future” project.
“Unfortunately, due to numerous political, bureaucratic and other reasons, we have not completed the construction of a large hospital. We have repeatedly reported on the collection and use of charitable funds. 100 million hryvnia were collected for the project, and 170 million were spent on its implementation,” Yushchenko said.
In her defense, she says that medical equipment for treating children was purchased and donated to Ukrainian hospitals, and therefore “millions of Ukrainian philanthropists who joined the Children’s Hospital of the Future project should rejoice that it was thanks to their even the slightest help that such a miracle how the little man’s return to life became possible.”
At the same time, Yushchenko complains that the criminal case was opened after an appeal from the organization “Public Security and Development” registered in Kherson, which, according to the ex-president’s wife, includes “open separatists” and “supporters of the Russian World.”
“I appeal to the police, the prosecutor’s office, the Prosecutor General. I ask you to carefully consider the information that I am now providing. You are conducting a pre-trial investigation on signs of a criminal offense against a charitable foundation that operates clearly, transparently, accountably, which you have already checked and are convinced that there is nothing illegal in its actions. You are checking this fund against the request of open separatists, fans of the “Russian world”, behind whom stand the enemies of Ukraine. I ask you to understand and stop the anti-Ukrainian activities of the organization “Public Security and Development (Kherson) and its “ideologists” Tatyana Tomilina and Alexander Gulyaev,” calls on Ekaterina Yushchenko..
