Zelensky met with Kuchma's son-in-law
The elected head of state Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting with the son-in-law of ex-president Lelnid Kuchma, major entrepreneur and billionaire Viktor Pinchuk, during which the interlocutors discussed the responsibility of business to Ukraine.
“As part of the announced meetings with entrepreneurs, we discussed with Viktor Pinchuk the transparency of the rules, the responsibility of business to the country, the equality of all before the law,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.
According to the magazine “New Time”, Pinchuk ranks eighth in the ranking of the most influential people in Ukraine. He is the owner of the popular TV channels ICTV, STB and New Channel.
Let us note that Zelensky previously announced a general meeting with representatives of large, small and medium-sized businesses “in the near future.” After this, this idea was criticized by the oligarch close to him, Igor Kolomoisky.
“Gathering everyone together is a utopia. That is, if you want to communicate with someone, communicate one-on-one. They don’t treat big business like a collective farm. This is not a collective farm meeting. Everyone’s money loves silence, and no one will tell their secrets and turn their souls wide open,” said the oligarch.
