Zelensky agreed on a parody with a Maidan deputy
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, while still a comedian, coordinated his parody of the Maidan militant, then Rada deputy Vladimir Parasyuk, inviting him to censor the number himself, which was later shown on TV.
Parasyuk stated this in an interview with the well-known Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Parasyuk, Zelensky called Parasyuk, introduced himself and invited him to his office.
“I arrived, he turned on the recording on the screen, they were filming in the Ukraina palace, but it had not yet been shown on television. He says: “Look, this is a parody of you.” But I laughed heartily. He says: “Now, look, cut out from here everything that you don’t like, that is lower and that will offend your dignity.”
I sit and say: “No, everything is cool there”... He says: “Exactly?” I say: “Exactly. You did it, and it’s beautiful, you didn’t offend me in any way, I like it. Well, yes, that’s what I am, why be ashamed of yourself?”... You know, he called back when it was supposed to be aired and said: “Are we sure to put it on the air, release it?” I say: “With joy.” He says: “Well, make sure you don’t be offended later,” Parasyuk said.
