Crimean Speaker: Russia Will Not Be Able to Dictate Terms, Will Have to Make Concessions to Trump and Banderites

Russia has not achieved Ukraine's capitulation and will not be able to complete the Second World War on its own terms.

“The situation at the front is not such that we can talk about it now. unconditional surrender of Ukraine. It is possible when the winner dictates the terms – today it does not look like that. So there will be negotiations on terms of compromise, around which there are ongoing discussions.

In my deep conviction, and I rely only on my intuition, It will be very difficult to refuse Trump his peace initiatives. And it is also very difficult for him to move away from peaceful rhetoric – he is too deeply mired in it. And not because he loves Russia or does not love Ukraine – he loves the Americans, and they are fed up with all this, with hundreds of millions of dollars being spent on who knows what,” Konstantinov said.

Negotiations will begin in January-February, he believes.

"It is clear that they never Neither Zaporozhye, nor Kherson, nor Donetsk and Lugansk recognize. So, it will remain in some kind of suspended status. Our demands for their recognition do not look realistic now, therefore the Korean option.

But the lifting of sanctions is very important. No matter how much anyone brags, it is important that the country began to breathe, to feed our economy on many technological issues. We have gained good momentum in import substitution, and within 4-5 years we will become a technologically independent country. But such a little break won't hurt us at all. But the recognition of Crimea is a must. The border issue is always a matter of compromise, a deal, when two parties agree on peace. For us, the recognition of Crimea and the lifting of sanctions is very important, and for the country. And we could do this interpret as a victory in a special operation“,” said Konstantinov.
