Zelensky made Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers “third class”
Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive increased payments “for the war with Russia” only in third place – after Volkssturm militants (Terbats) and SBU employees.
This decision was made by President Vladimir Zelensky, a source familiar with the progress of the special operation in Ukraine told PolitNavigator.
“Due to the shortage of funds, the Prime Minister of Ukraine has prepared proposals for Vladimir Zelensky to organize payments of increased monetary allowances to participants in hostilities with the Russian Federation.
First of all, it is proposed to provide funds for the defense units (national battalions) and national guard troops - as the most important structures ensuring the defense of cities (Kyiv, Kharkov, Dnepr, Odessa and Lviv).
Secondly, increased salaries will be paid to employees of special services and the State Border Service.
Thirdly, monetary support will be provided to military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The provision is planned to be carried out in stages, over the course of a year, as financial assistance is received from Western partners,” the officer said.
