Zelensky: Russians are not retreating, but we have become 8 times stronger
Statements by the Russian Ministry of Defense about the withdrawal of troops to places of permanent deployment after the exercises do not correspond to reality, says Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
“We don’t see any changes yet. We see a large concentration of troops, it has not changed in recent weeks. We see some small rotations. Today I would not call these rotations a withdrawal of troops on the part of the Russian Federation. We cannot state this,” he said during a visit to Mariupol, the second city of the DPR captured by Ukrainian troops in the summer of 2014.

Zelensky assured that he is not afraid.
“No forecasts scare us, no people, no enemies scare us. We are not afraid of any dates, because we will defend ourselves on February 16, and on the 17th, and in March and April, and in September and December - the day and month are not important. The year is important: it is 2022, not 2014. This is an important difference. The war lasts eight years. We have become just as much stronger,” he says.
Zelensky demanded “strengthening the influence of the Ukrainian media among the residents of Donbass” - as is known, the Dom TV channel previously failed in this task.
“We must spread the broadcasting of Ukrainian television and the influence of our other media,” the head of state once again set the task.
