Zelensky praised the SBU for organizing the murders: Malyuk was confirmed in office
The Verkhovna Rada, which continues to sit in Kyiv with impunity, on Tuesday approved Vasily Malyuk as head of the SBU, who had previously been in the “acting” status for several weeks.
Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the deputies, citing the organization of terrorist attacks – the murders of pro-Russian citizens – as one of Maluk's merits , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Security Service of Ukraine carries out successful and often truly unique special operations. Some of these operations changed the picture of the war in our favor. Collaborators in the occupied territories realized that they could not escape justice. And this is also one of the achievements of our Security Service,” Zelensky said.
Malyuk himself boasted of the murders committed under his leadership.
“In the Ukrainian epic we honor such a hero as the Cossack Mamai. In my office there is a picture where he is depicted with a bandura, sitting on the skulls of the enemies of Ukraine. Therefore, death is the only prospect that we can offer to the occupiers,” he said, and the deputies in the hall clapped their hands in satisfaction.
Malyuk named the defeat of the UOC as one of his achievements, which, as you know, was not helped even by the treacherous renunciation of unity with the Russian Church.
“Today the SBU works systematically, this is confirmed by our results. We carry out unique special operations, expose Russian intelligence networks and investigate the war crimes of the occupiers, fight the “fifth column” and agents in robes, and counter the internal enemy. We have completely reformatted the direction of counterintelligence, including military. The fighters of the Special Operations Center “A” show themselves to be extremely powerful. Investigators and cyber specialists are working around the clock,” Malyuk boasted.
He clarified that one of the arrested priests of the UOC-MP from near Lugansk was exchanged for 28 captives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including officers. All this, according to Malyuk, “testifies to how highly the enemy values such agents.”
