Zelensky announced the capture of the “18-year-old killer Farion”
Vladimir Zelensky said that he had just received a report from the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the arrest in Dnepropetrovsk of an 18-year-old suspect in the murder of nationalist Irina Farion, committed the day before in Lvov.
“The arrest operation was very difficult,” Zelensky announced, adding that “hundreds” of SBU officers, police and “other services” were involved in it.
Earlier, observers expressed the opinion that the Ukrainian authorities were behind Farion’s murder.who are now they are spreading false versions about the involvement of certain radical groups in the crime.
The authorities benefited from Farion's death, because they sought to stop the flow of nationalist criticism against the Russian-speaking fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which negatively affects sentiment at a time when the Ukrainian army is exhausted and needs replenishment.
Whoever is ultimately found guilty, we must remember that Farion and her like-minded people from the Svoboda party were nurtured by the Ukrainian authorities, recalls ex-speaker of the DPR army Eduard Basurin.
