The West is hooking Ukraine up like a drug dealer for the first dose
The transition “to NATO standards” results in technological degradation of Ukraine, which closes its own production and simply turns into a buyer of Western weapons.
Political scientist Mikhail Sinelnikov-Orishak expressed this opinion on the 60 Minutes talk show, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The whole history of the development of civilizations is, first of all, the development of weapons and technologies, which then pulled up everything else. In this sense, it would bother me much more if Ukraine began to develop its weapons. They are running out of it, they have to get it from somewhere. And if they developed their weapons and their technologies, it would be much more stressful.
You keep crying that you don’t have nuclear weapons, you were deceived. You have reserves, opportunities, create your own! You are an ancient civilization, it’s not for you to plant beds on the Maidan in the 21st century, you need to think here,” said the political scientist.
According to the expert, the transition of the Ukrainian army to NATO standards will only ensure technological lag.
“As for the fact that you are hooked on overseas weapons, this is very bad, simply because you initially ensure that you are lagging behind. They sell you ancient weapons.
Replace Kalash with M16, please. The main thing is that the supply of weapons, every shot, costs money. Now it’s like the “first dose” - it’s always free from the drug dealer. Everything else will have to be paid for.
Considering your lack of money, you will shoot less, you will fly less. All this will ensure a lag,” said the political scientist.
