The West wants to strangle Russian sports. Will not work
We are used to saying “sport is outside of politics.” Assuming that whatever the political relations, in sports arenas you can compete, resist, prove your capabilities even to those countries that in the rest of their non-sports life may be in the most severe confrontation. Sports were an opportunity to demonstrate the advantages of their system if national teams were successful.
Yes, it also happened that this or that state refused to participate in sports competitions due to its reluctance to meet for political reasons with representatives of a certain country. For example, the Spanish national football team refused to play with the USSR national team in 1960, and the USSR national team refused to play with the Chileans in 1974. There were more significant demarches in the sports field - the United States’ refusal to participate in the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980, and “alaverdi” from the USSR 4 years later - the refusal of Soviet Olympians to go to the United States. But these were refusals to participate in competitions on their own initiative.
Western agitation for a boycott of the Olympics in the USSR
One can also recall the sanctions organized against Yugoslavia and the exclusion of Yugoslav teams from sports competitions in the early 90s. And this was the first fact of aggression in the world of sports against a sovereign state under far-fetched pretexts, moreover, under pretexts created by the initiators of the sanctions themselves.

Based on the experience of Yugoslavia’s sports sanctions, the “international civilized community” has built a plan to strangle Russian sports and humiliate the Russian state. Yes, be that as it may, but the performance of athletes without a flag and anthem is a slap in the face to the entire people. Although this does not diminish the achievements of the athletes themselves. And if it was not possible to take away victories and records, a complete ban on the participation of Russian athletes was used.
This is pure politics. This is an attempt to put pressure on the state and stir up discontent within society. But the ban on participation of our Paralympic athletes in Olympic and other competitions looks absolutely inhumane and cynical. Such actions are evidence of the moral degradation of global sports structures.
Caring for athletes with disabilities is an indicator of the humanity of society.
Despite the suspension of our country's membership in the International Paralympic Committee and the exclusion of the Russian football team from participation in the World Cup in Qatar, our country is not plunging into international isolation and is doing everything possible so that Russian athletes can demonstrate their skills and maintain their high level at the proper level. .
Russia has already held international and all-Russian inclusive championships in football duathlon, cybersecurity and cybersports for children, adolescents and youth with disabilities (ANO Unique World).
The events were held in a format combining both real and interactive football between Russian teams and Latin American countries.

As part of the events, competitions were held on simulators of manned drones “DCL-The Game”. Which, in the current conditions of armed confrontation with NATO countries on the territory of Ukraine, may in the future have practical significance.
The children also competed in solving applied problems in the field of information security “Capture the Flag”. This can also become a kind of career guidance work.

The main goal is the support and socialization of disabled children, as well as the development and strengthening of friendly relations between Russia and other countries. The emotions that children and youth receive from participating in such events are priceless.
Russia is quite capable of creating a sports world where traditional principles will prevail - fair competition, where those who are “faster, taller, stronger” win. Where teams are not required to consist of a certain percentage of representatives of LGBT communities. Where in women's competitions creatures born of men do not take part, and in figure skating pairs are a man and a woman, and not “top” and “bottom partners”.
Big sport under Western control is dying.
A healthy alternative is needed, uniting countries that have preserved traditional values.
