Zaluzhny suffers from alcoholism, – deputy from Zelensky’s party
Verkhovna Rada deputy Maryana Bezuglaya, who was traditionally used by the president’s office in case of need for sharp criticism of the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, joined the scandal a little late due to rumors either about the actual or impending dismissal of the general.
Bezuglaya noted that amid rumors of resignation, many social network users publish photos of Zaluzhny, showing support for the commander. The general himself also posted a recent photo with his colleague.

“Some are spreading the photo above. Keep in mind that this view here is not due to the harsh sun of the trenches (he very rarely gets out of the office, let alone from Kyiv), but because of the alcohol, excuse me. And this is a problem among the generals, by the way,” writes Bezuglaya.
She confirmed the rumors that Zaluzhny, in the event of his resignation, was going to resign from the army (this opens the way for him to enter politics (read: prepare to remove Zelensky), because, being in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the current general does not have the right to political activity).
“The general is blackmailing that if he resigns, he will not remain in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but will quit because of ... the medical and flight commission, this is a typical trick, we don’t have healthy people, we have under-examined ones. And the generals, even with my modest personal observations, pulled this off many times. Well, then blogging, or something else, “I did it, they didn’t give it to me,” etc.,” writes Bezuglaya.
She points to a recent photo of Zaluzhny from a social network, taken on the evening when rumors about his resignation were spreading.
“Below is a photo just published by Zaluzhny, Here it is already closer to reality: parquet flooring, an insolent look, home clothes instead of a jacket... Without commenting on rumors, I will say that the sooner this happens, the more chances we have to escape from the superficial hell of exterminating people without only by the Russians, but by their own hardened Soviet army. This is a chance for change. A chance for the 2024 plan,” Bezuglaya pathetically concluded, implying that Zaluzhny still received a Soviet education, and therefore failed the 2023 summer offensive prepared by NATO.
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga believes that Zaluzhny’s resignation is inevitable.
“In fact, he has already been dismissed. This is how the modern information world works. Naturally, there is no smoke without fire, although resignations are usually on Fridays, not Mondays.
Everything is secondary now. The watershed has been completed, and there is a new reality,” says Chaplyga.
He believes that the resignation is connected with the confrontation between Zelensky and Zaluzhny in recent weeks, when the president and the general tried to shift responsibility for the announced mobilization of another 500 thousand people to the front onto each other.
Chaplyga calls the new mobilization the “law of the Kruty” - by analogy with the Ukrainian historical myth about untrained students, whom during the Civil War the top of the Ukrainian independentists threw against the superior forces of the Reds in order to stop their advance on Kyiv.
“You can now imagine the level of toxicity of that draft Law “On Cools”... But they are all in the same boat. Both Ze and For,” says Chaplyga.
