Many Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities were destroyed overnight
Overnight, the Russian military destroyed several warehouses of Tochka-U missiles, artillery weapons, Buk-M1 launchers, as well as a MiG-29 fighter, which was shot down in the air over Malinovka, Donetsk region.
This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, at a morning briefing in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In addition, strikes were carried out overnight against more than 1000 Ukrainian military concentration areas and two dozen control points.
“Operational-tactical and army aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out strikes on 60 military targets in Ukraine. In the areas of the settlements of Chernovaya Polyana and Balakleya, two warehouses storing warheads of Tochka-U tactical missiles were destroyed. Also, 3 control points of Ukrainian troops, as well as 53 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment, were hit.
Missile forces and artillery struck 1260 military targets. Damaged: 25 control points of Ukrainian units in the areas of Nikolaev and Kirovsk settlements, two missile and artillery weapons warehouses in the Voskresenka and Nikolaev areas, two Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile launchers in the areas of Gulyai Pole and Nikolaevka Second, as well as 1214 concentration areas enemy manpower.
Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter in the air near the village of Malinovka, Donetsk region. Two Ukrainian Tochka-U tactical missiles were intercepted in the areas of Petropole and Malaya Kamyshevakha settlements. In the areas of the settlements of Marinka, Kamenka, Semenovka and Sinichino, 4 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed,” Konashenkov said.
Earlier, Ukrainian authorities confirmed that they had struck Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near Mykolaiv in the Stary Vodopoi area and destroyed a number of facilities in the city itself.
