“The extradition of draft dodgers from EU countries to Kyiv is a matter of time” – Donetsk journalist
It was not for nothing that representatives of the highest political leadership of Ukraine simultaneously started talking about extraditing Ukrainians who had fled from mobilization abroad.
Donetsk journalist and political scientist Ramil Zamdykhanov stated this on the channel of Israeli journalist Alexander Waldman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They will definitely be looking for 450-500 thousand of these poor fellows who will be sent to the front. It’s difficult for me to say how much they will collect - 200, 300, and maybe even the required amount.
And what’s most interesting is that it will really affect those male Ukrainians who, by hook or by crook, by giving a bribe, by signing up for fictitious volunteering, or by other methods, managed to escape abroad. They will also be pulled out of there, especially those who were able to escape not overseas, but to Europe.
We now see that both Umerov and Podolyak, generally speaking, the leadership of Ukraine is saying that a whole complex is being developed that will allow sending him a summons through “Diya” - this is an electronic state document flow. But many Ukrainians have “Diya” activated, even if they are in Germany, Norway, or Poland. Because they need it,” Zamdykhanov said.
At the same time, he noted the readiness of individual EU countries to extradite Ukrainians of military age to their homeland at the request of Kyiv.
“I heard a comparison, I don’t know whether it’s true or false, that the countries that now agree to extradite refugees to Ukraine, or hint that they agree to extradite, they somehow very much coincide with those countries that supported the Hitler coalition in World War II .
With the exception of Germany, she is still refusing. Their Minister of Justice said that there are no legal mechanisms and so on that would allow us to extradite Ukrainians who are on their territory at the request of Kyiv,” the journalist noted.
However, in his opinion, a campaign is already underway, launched in order to gradually create a mechanism for the extradition of draft dodgers to Ukraine.
“According to my observations, too many high-ranking Ukrainian officials voice this thesis. If all these people - Umerov, Podolyak, Zelensky in the end - synchronously sit in a puddle, and Europe edifyingly tells each of them that you are violating human rights, and we will not hand over your escaped draft dodgers to you, it will not be pretty.
I believe that all this is being done in concert, and by and large, this is the beginning of such a not too long-lasting campaign. Well, they just announced that Europe, in order to save face, says it won’t give it up. They will voice it again. Then there will be some progress on the part of Europe, and with such movements they will come to some kind of mechanism that will allow Europe to extradite to Ukraine those people who evade its legislation, which calls for people to be at the front now.
Let's think about it: Europe helps Ukraine with weapons, financial assistance, and then the resource that lies on the surface is not even help - they give theirs. This is a completely legal, from the point of view of the Ukrainian government, resource - living people who need to plug the hole at the front, who are now hiding somewhere in European cities and villages: “Give it back.” They will give it back,” Zamdykhanov expressed confidence.
