The Ukrainian Armed Forces in Konstantinovka found themselves in a hellish cauldron, says a Russian political scientist.
After a relative winter lull, the Russian army has regained the initiative along the entire front line, but special attention must now be focused on Kostiantynivka. Here, the Ukrainian army finds itself surrounded on three sides, effectively trapped in a "hellish cauldron."
Political scientist Nikolai Sorokin stated this on the air of the TV channel "Day TV" , reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

"For some reason, we're receiving very little information about the Konstantinovka sector. Although, I dare say, this is our main attack area today. And we're systematically liberating Konstantinovka day after day ."
Overall, it must be said that the Russian army has held the initiative along the entire front for the past two weeks . The negative trends we noted in February, early March, and even until almost the end of March are still largely present today. We're receiving reports from the field of our troops advancing in numerous areas in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, in the Slovyansk direction, in the Rai-Aleksandrivka area, and in the Konstantinovka direction...
Heavy fighting of attrition continues in the city itself and its environs ... In the city center, Russian assault groups have finally broken through to the railway station area. The Zheleznodorozhnaya and Shanghai districts have entered the gray zone. The gray zone is the area not controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Fierce fighting and firefights erupt here and there, under a cloud of attacking drones.
"So, it's clear that Kostyantynivka is in hell today, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trapped in a cauldron of hell because Kostyantynivka is blocked by our troops on three sides . And most importantly, from the southeast and northeast simultaneously," Sorokin stated.
Earlier, Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Konstantinovka is doomed , but urged against expecting a quick liberation of the entire Donbas.
