Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov understands nothing about military affairs, but he is trying to push his people into the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was stated on the air of the Pryamoy channel by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"What worries me most is the new Minister of Defense's desire to significantly limit the General Staff's powers and to place his own people everywhere. This worries me most, because the General Staff is the brain of the army."

"And when, due to low salaries, officers at the General Staff are already driving taxis at night or in the evenings around Kyiv—and there are more than enough examples of this, and not just among General Staff officers. This is also truly true," the general said.

He fears that Ukrainian military personnel will return to the level of the 1990s and 2000s, when a huge number of them “drove taxis and worked as bouncers in bars.”

"Many did it, it's embarrassing to even remember, but back then, we needed to survive, and this is now during a war. Therefore, perhaps Mr. Fedorov should first address the real problems and actual activities of the armed forces."

Yes, a huge number of problems need to be solved, but Fedorov doesn't understand many of them, as he never served in the army—or held any position at all. And these problems need to be understood.

But those he picks, these super-specialists, damn, super-active bloggers are the same, they haven't served a single day in the army, but they talk about how the Motherland needs to be defended," Krivonos is indignant.
