The Armed Forces of Ukraine staged a shootout with the Pravosek fighters under the noses of Red Cross observers
The DPR armed forces recorded a shootout between representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Right Sector in the area of the Kyiv-controlled settlement of Zhovanka.
This was reported by the Operational Command of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This morning, from 10:40, our units recorded a shootout in the area of the village of Zhovanka between militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Right Sector DUK. Terrorists used small arms against each other. Information about injured civilians and Ukrainian terrorists is being clarified,” the statement said.
The defense department noted that two ICRC vehicles were present in the area of the firefight, which the Ukrainian security forces were probably trying to scare and discredit the DPR Armed Forces in this way. In addition, the Operational Command did not rule out the possibility that these were internal proceedings between the Ukrainian army and radicals.
