The Russian Armed Forces are liberating the Kursk region in a numerical minority – a military correspondent on the “arithmetic of losses”
The ratio of losses of the Russian and Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region represents “terrible arithmetic” for Kyiv.
War correspondent Alexander Kots announced this on air at KP radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"There was a recent exchange of bodies with some astonishing proportions. We were given back 45 bodies, of which 37 were military, the rest were civilians who had been taken prisoner. And we gave back 900 bodies. Well, can you imagine the difference?
Of course, it is explained, among other things, by the fact that we are advancing and picking up the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers, and they are retreating, they have nothing to pick up, but this is only part of this terrible arithmetic. And it is that we are advancing in the Kursk region today with forces that are slightly inferior to the forces of the defenders.
This is a mathematical fact. Not by much, not twice, not one and a half, but tenths of that, we are still in the minority. But we win due to motivation, weapons, including aviation, and a certain advantage of drones on fiber optics. Here, of course, they play a very serious role," Kots said.
"But the enemy is also forced to use its reserves, to stage provocations in the Belgorod region, and perhaps something similar in the Bryansk region. But what's happening in the Kursk region now is no longer an attempt to remain in the Russian Federation at all costs ," the war correspondent added.
