The photo was published on the official Twitter account of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Holy See.

“You have never seen Monica Bellucci like this! Famous actress in Ukrainian style,” announced on Twitter.

However, it turned out that Ukrainian diplomats, in their usual style, misinformed the reader. It turned out that this photo shoot of Bellucci is several years old and has nothing to do with Ukraine. In the photographs, Monica Bellucci appears not at all as a Ukrainian, but as the famous Mexican communist artist Frida Kahlo, Trotsky’s mistress and the wife of one of the prominent members of the Mexican Communist Party, also the famous artist Diego Rivera.
