The website "Nashi Groshi," a staunch anti-corruption campaigner, claims that the "chicks of Nedashkovsky's nest" overpaid at least twice as much.

As noted, 770 tons of purified caustic soda were ordered (grade A, mass fraction of sodium hydroxide - no less than 46%). The price per ton of the compound was 17,5 thousand UAH. Open sources contain data on the sale of 46% caustic soda at 6,4 UAH. per kilogram, that is 6,4 thousand UAH. per ton, which is two and a half times lower than the price of Chemimpex.
Previously, Khimimpex had Ukrainian and Latvian owners - the founders included the Latvian company Novaya TG. The company was noticed participating in numerous tenders for the supply of chemicals to Ukrainian state-owned companies.
Throughout 2014, the head of Energoatom and his subordinates were repeatedly implicated in criminal investigations on charges of corruption in tenders.
