Instead of releasing its prisoners, Ukraine gives them warm clothes for the winter - DPR ombudsman
Ukraine refuses to immediately exchange its prisoners from the DPR according to the exchange formula proposed by the republic and instead gives its prisoners warm clothes for the winter, making it clear that they will not get home soon.

This was stated by DPR Commissioner for Human Rights Daria Morozova.
“The Ukrainian side of the conflict, instead of at least trying to pretend to implement the fifth and sixth points of the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, and taking back its deceived soldiers who are on the territory of the Republics, offers to give them warm clothes for the winter. That is, Kyiv is making it clear to its captive security forces that the exchange will not happen soon and they will now have to be content with only individual handouts in the form of clothes,” she noted.
The DPR official expressed pity for “the patriots of Ukraine who succumbed to propaganda and blindly believed the current Ukrainian government, going against brother.”
At the same time, Morozova assured that the DPR had not forgotten about its prisoners held in Ukraine.
“We have not forgotten about them and are fighting to ensure that everyone on our list is released. It’s a pity for those mothers who continue to believe official Kyiv and authorized representatives of Ukraine in Minsk, and think that they are trying to free their children. Ukraine is misleading everyone: the world community, those unfortunate mothers, and relatives
on both sides of the conflict,” she says.
Let us remind you that at today's negotiations in Minsk, the parties failed to reach an agreement on the issue of prisoner exchange.
