Chairman of the Pension Fund Alexey Zarudny said this today during a meeting of the Ministry of Social Policy with the participation of Yatsenyuk.

“Our average pension as of July 1 was 1601 UAH, which is 42 UAH more than the same date last year. In December of this year, the average pension should increase by 94 UAH,” he said.

There are about 13,5 million pensioners in Ukraine. In mid-March, a law came into force in Ukraine reducing pensions by 15% for working pensioners whose pensions exceed UAH 1453.
