Great Britain: We will continue to separate Ukraine from Russia after Brexit
After leaving the European Union, the United Kingdom intends to continue supporting the ruling anti-Russian regime in Ukraine. British Ambassador Judith Goff announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, PolitNavigator reports.

“We believe that Brexit will not affect relations with Ukraine. Since the referendum I have had more ministerial visits than before. The UK is leaving the EU, but that doesn't mean we're leaving the continent. Politics on the continent concerns us; we know that Russia is a very serious aggressor. Of course, Brexit takes up a lot of our attention, but not all of it,” she said.
Goff emphasized that the UK provides significant assistance to Ukraine in many areas, including diplomatic ones.
“We are very concerned that the news about Ukraine in the world media is very negative. You can see that there is war, crisis, corruption. But there is also a very positive story here. We need to tell people about it. In three years, enormous reforms have been carried out, more than any government has done. We want to demonstrate the success of Ukraine. And we want to strengthen international assistance to Ukraine, and this is a long-term project,” she said.
