Wasserman: European integration will destroy Ukrainian lard
On the shelves of Ukrainian supermarkets there is no longer a traditional product for the country - locally produced lard. “Expert” Anatoly Wasserman stated this on Rassvet TV.
According to him, Ukrainian lard can still be bought in markets, but in the event of European association they will also be closed.

“The famous Ukrainian lard is now not produced at all at large Ukrainian agricultural enterprises. Most of the lard sold in stores is Polish products and a little Hungarian, and the lard sold in markets is the product of villagers’ private farms. Moreover, the markets will most likely be completely closed in the near future, since the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU provides for the extension of EU production standards to agriculture, and it is already clear that not a single Ukrainian agricultural producer has sufficient funds to comply with these standards. And from the EU point of view, the products of private farms are generally unacceptable,” Wasserman said.
