In Zaporozhye, the SBU did not allow military components to be exported to Russia from an aircraft plant

Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the police and under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office, stopped the theft of military components from an aviation enterprise.

The security forces found out that they were trying to remove the parts on the order of a businessman from Zaporozhye, who collaborated with industrial enterprises in the city.

“He agreed with two employees of the aircraft plant to remove components for military aircraft engines from the territory of the enterprise. Previously, the businessman found out that there were customers from other countries, including Russia, for the purchase of parts, and established contact with them,” the message says.

SBU operatives detained plant workers near the enterprise while attempting to transfer stolen aircraft components to the organizer.

Criminal proceedings have been opened under Art. 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
