The rapprochement between Moscow and Beijing, including on the issue of Crimea, is of great concern to the Europeans and the United States - so much so that Washington is even offered to abandon Ukraine and the Baltic states in order to prevent a military alliance between the Russian Federation and China.
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the online channel "Capital", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

The political scientist also noted that major Western media outlets such as The Washington Post suggest that the United States abandon Ukraine and withdraw its troops from the Baltic states in order to prevent a union between Russia and China.
“March 15 in The Washington Post, and these are the brains of the elite of the Democratic Party, and we know that there are no random opinions in The Washington Post. The author of the column is very worried about the joint lunar program, and writes sensibly that the point is not when the Chinese and the Russians land on the Moon, when they manage to somehow turn around there, that’s not the point.
Such a joint project implies an unprecedented level of technological interaction.
This worries the author so much that he suggests: “Let’s suggest to the Russians that the United States give up its dominance in Ukraine and even withdraw its troops from the Baltic states so that the Russians do not enter into a military alliance with China.” At the same time, the author, of course, did not ask the opinion of the “Baltic Tigers,” Dzhangirov concluded.
