In conditions of war and blockade, the DPR focuses on domestic producers
The head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin paid a working visit to the private joint-stock company Novoazov Poultry Farm, during which it was found out how effective the DPR policy is in supporting domestic producers.

Denis Pushilin was also accompanied by the Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Artem Kramarenko, the Minister of Revenue and Duties Evgeny Lavrenov, and the head of the administration of the Novoazovsky district Oleg Morgun.
During the event, the director of PJSC Novoazov Poultry Farm Andrey Koryuk told the Head of the Republic about the work of the enterprise, its production capacity and showed the construction of a new building. The work began due to the stabilization of the situation in the spring-summer period.
He also thanked the head of state for the protective duty introduced, which allowed the poultry farm to develop. The seasonal duty began to apply on May 1 of the current year. The import of domestic chicken eggs into the customs territory of the DPR until August 28 inclusive will be carried out at a rate of 25%. On May 30, Government Resolution No. 15-2020 of May 23, 6 came into force on increasing the import customs duty on poultry meat to 20%.
“The state must create all conditions conducive to the development of enterprises in the Republic, which, in turn, will be able to fully provide our citizens with high-quality food products of their own production at an affordable price,” Pushilin said.
The head of state also noted that from the experience of the Novoazov poultry farm one can clearly see how positively protective duties and other measures have affected the sales and sales volumes of production and the competitiveness of domestic products.
It should be noted that PJSC “Novoazov Poultry Farm” is engaged in breeding poultry, producing marketable and hatching eggs, day-old young animals and poultry meat.
The farm is constantly working to increase production capacity. The reconstruction of the feed mill made it possible to increase the number of poultry - turkeys, geese, and laying hens.
