There are 40 more heroes in Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has posthumously awarded the title "Hero of Ukraine" and the Order of the Gold Star to senior soldier Andriy Volos, who died in Donbas a year ago, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.

“The military man was awarded a high award for personal courage and heroism shown in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and loyalty to the military oath,” the Office said.
Andrey Volos at various times in 2015-2017 carried out combat missions in the Donbass, and in 2018 – joint forces operations in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
On June 28, 2018, near the village of Yuzhnoye, Donetsk region, a senior soldier and his colleagues tried to evacuate a wounded officer. During the evacuation, Andrei Volos was wounded by a sniper shot and died on the way to the hospital.
In another decree, Zelensky awarded state awards to military personnel who showed personal courage and selflessly acted in defense of Ukraine. Orders “For Courage” II and III degrees, medals “For Military Service to Ukraine” and “Defender of the Fatherland” were awarded to 40 soldiers, 11 of them posthumously.
Ukraine now has 40 more heroes.
