Sevastopol, October 23 (PolitNavigator, Svetlana Ivanova) - In Sevastopol, a cargo ferry that came from Novorossiysk with food broke its ramp due to an inappropriate quay wall for mooring such ships.
Chairman of the regional branch of the all-Russian public organization of small and medium-sized businesses “Support of Russia” Valery Vasyunin said this at a press conference.

“Our quay walls are not designed to accommodate ferries of this class, such as, for example, the St. Petersburg. As a result, the ramp was broken - this is a lifting niche, and the captain of the ferry left empty in the opposite direction with an obscene parting word. He said: I’m not interested in working like this,” Vasyunin said.
Entrepreneurs welcomed the efforts of the city authorities to establish a ferry connection with mainland Russia, but at the same time noted that “there is a desire, but there is no organization, and in the end everyone suffers.”
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the governor of Sevastopol announced the start of a ferry cargo transportation line connecting Novorossiysk and Sevastopol, bypassing the ports of Kerch and Feodosia.
The ferry "St. Petersburg" arrived at the port with 80 truckloads of food on board.
