This was announced by SBU press secretary Marina Ostapenko, reports UNN.
“As a result of research, SBU specialists discovered prohibited methods of information and psychological influence on Russian television channels, in particular Russia 24. Such methods are prohibited by international law. This is the use of the so-called 25th frame with the inscriptions “Set fire to the right sector”, “Killed Banderaites”, “National Guard killers”, which are not visible when viewing the plot normally, but are clearly visible on the storyboard,” Ostapenko said.
She also added that, according to SBU specialists, TV channels use “half-truths,” shifting accents, and using shortcuts. The emotional form of presenting materials is also widely used.
As Navigator reported, the Ukrainian authorities intend to organize a unified accreditation to ensure the activities of all journalists working in the area of the anti-terrorist operation. According to military expert Dmitry Tymchuk, Russian journalists are “directly involved in interrogations of Ukrainian security forces (and therefore, participation in kidnappings); direct participation in provocations against Ukrainian military personnel; conducting intelligence activities in the interests of gangs and Russian intelligence services.”
