This was stated by the head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak.
“In total, there are more than 33 thousand people in the Russian-terrorist forces on the territory of Ukraine, as well as about 9 thousand military personnel of the regular forces of the Russian army. These are 21 tactical groups of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, of which 15 are battalion-tactical groups and 6 are company-tactical.
In addition, according to him, another 53 tactical groups, 39 battalion and 14 company tactical groups are allegedly concentrated near the border of Ukraine.
“The total number is 50 thousand soldiers and officers,” Gritsak emphasized.
