Over the course of several days, a broad children's jury will watch dozens of children's and youth films and award them prizes in numerous categories. In addition, for the first time, popular actors and directors will help the children in each camp of the Artek International Children's Center make their own films in various genres from thrillers to musicals, which will also be judged by a wide children's jury.

This year, the Artek International Children's Center was partially reconstructed and significantly updated. Several camps were renovated, the symbols and bus depot were updated, and Bosco developed a new uniform for children and counselors. For the first time in many years, this year there are practically no children from Ukraine and counselors from Ukrainian universities. The management and permanent employees of the Artek MDC regret the severance of ties between Artek and Ukraine. Many counselors are afraid to go to work in Crimea because of anti-Russian propaganda; Kyiv has tightened the rules for children traveling on vacation. In addition, the Kyiv authorities created their own version of Artek on the territory of Ukraine, which by this year had already divided into three competing camps.

However, despite the absence of children and counselors from Ukraine, the Artek MDC conducts full-fledged shifts with the camps being fully occupied. In the Morskoy camp alone, 23 detachments of 20 to 30 people have now been formed (there are 10 camps in total in Artek, 7 are working - three are under reconstruction).

In Artek itself, commercial trade, paid yacht parking, and other commercial components have been systematically removed from the territory of the children's camp. The number of vouchers for commercial sale has been reduced to a minimum of 100; thousands of vouchers are issued free of charge to children throughout Russia, as well as Belarus and Kazakhstan, for special merit as a reward. MBC "Artek" is gradually returning to its best traditions, despite the difficulties.

The camp management hopes to see counselors and children from Ukraine next year. “Artek” is a center and a live platform where any discord between peoples and social groups is removed.
