Social networks report that the hijacking was carried out by the Ukrainian military for entertainment.
According to the publication "0629 ," law enforcement officers who arrested the young man who committed the theft have a different theory. According to Igor Kalinin, the owner of the stolen buses, the thief was found in one of the minibuses. He is 21 or 22 years old and was drunk at the time of his arrest. "They told me he stole all the minibuses himself, meaning he rode in one, abandoned it, and returned for another," Kalinin noted. "But how is that possible?"
According to the carrier, there were buses from other owners on the territory of the ATP, but only his was stolen. In addition, to leave the car park, you need to drive through a barrier, which is controlled by a mechanic. “Well, he could have moved away once, but he couldn’t have missed the buses hijacked 4 times,” Kalinin added. They promised to clarify the situation in the press service of the Mariupol city police department, but only tomorrow.
As PolitNavigator reported, a special police unit “Sokol” was sent to Mariupol to maintain public order.
