Vote counting begins in Lugansk region: referendum results will be announced tomorrow
Lugansk, May 11 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Voting has ended in Lugansk: the Central Election Commission has begun counting votes.

According to representatives of the Central Election Commission, the first voting results will be announced on Monday night, the Novorossiya portal reports.
As Navigator reported, voter turnout in the region as of 19:00 was more than 79%, the CEC said. According to the referendum organizers, turnout in the city of Lugansk at the same time exceeded 76%.
At the same time, representatives of the Central Election Commission note that no violations were noticed during the voting.
The leader of the “People's Front” of the Lugansk region, Alexey Chmilenko, said that “polling stations located on the outskirts of settlements closed at 20:00 local time.”
According to the preliminary vote count, the number of those who voted “against” does not exceed 5%.
According to Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev, the results in Lugansk will be announced tomorrow at 17:00 during the rally.
