Simferopol, November 22 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – After the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea adopted Resolution No. 405 “On some issues of the distribution of outdoor advertising, installation and operation of outdoor advertising and information objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” all signs on the peninsula may disappear.

The weekly “New Crimea” writes about this.

As Sergei Zyryanov, head of the external advertising department of the Ministry of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, explained to the publication, “Resolution No. 405 clearly states the difference between a simple sign and an advertising and information sign.”

“For example, the “Store” sign, which only indicates its opening hours, is not of an advertising nature, but the “Image” store is already an advertisement that attracts the attention of customers. If this is even a corporate logo, even more so,” the official noted.

Sergei Zyryanov emphasized that for such a sign you will have to pay a single state duty.

In a comment to NK, the owner of a chain of hairdressing salons, Valentina, noted that changing its name to the faceless “hair salon” would lead to a semi-underground existence of the business. A second option is also possible - pay for all the signs, but raise prices for services and partially bring employee salaries into the shadows.

Vadim, the owner of several mini-markets, is not delighted with the innovations of the Council of Ministers.

"Oh, these new regulations are so ill-timed! We have to re-register —not just the business itself, but also the cash registers. That will take a lot of time, money, and stress. And then there's the unified state fee, which requires paying separately for each sign before the New Year. So, I'm increasingly thinking: should I close down?" the entrepreneur laments.
