Executive producer of Eurovision 2017 Victoria Romanova stated this on the air of Hromadske TV.

“Eurovision is an image project. This is not a cost, it is an investment. I would advise you to consider these funds in this way. We all understand that this is a costly part. She's not small. This is at the same time an investment in Ukraine, in infrastructure, in image and in the future,” says Romanova.

At the same time, “Hromadske” indicates that the estimated income from holding Eurovision 2017 in Ukraine will be about 200 million hryvnia, and the costs of holding the competition are set at 430 million hryvnia.
