Kiev realized that Russia is ready for confrontation with the West
Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 and supported Donbass, being unprepared for sanctions. Now Moscow is ready for a decisive response to the weakened West.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on the YouTube channel “Politeka”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“Biden himself said that we will not fight, NATO members have said everything, various NATO representatives, that we will not fight with Russia for Ukraine. Firstly, we are not members of NATO, Article 14 does not work. Yes, we will help in some way - but they will help as they did in XNUMX. But Russia is already ready,” the expert said.
“In 2014, she was not ready for this, they took Crimea, and brought troops into Donbass. They were not ready for sanctions, but now they are ready for it. They are ready for the most decisive response, economic or otherwise, from the West. And the West is not the same today. It is no coincidence that Putin is holding negotiations with Xi Jinping, and Xi Jinping said that Russia is more than our ally. They understand that there is already a connection, a military alliance, a military alliance between Russia and China,” Karasev said.
