Kiev hopes that British missiles will close Ukrainian waters to Russian ships
Ukraine hopes to receive British anti-ship missiles in order to use them to strike Black Sea Fleet ships in the waters.
Former deputy head of the SBU Viktor Yagun announced this on the Dom TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Yagun, Ukraine would like to carry out strikes at a distance of up to two hundred kilometers.
“It’s a stalemate now. We can hit them with precision. As they approach, we have the opportunity, as I understand it, that it will soon be strengthened - these are anti-ship missiles, which Great Britain was supposed to provide us with. We will not clarify whether we already have them or not - let this be a surprise for the Russians. But it is precisely these missiles that should precisely close the water area in the nearest miles from our coast,” the general said.
“But the maneuvers of these ships at a distance of up to 200 kilometers, in principle, if we have the appropriate intelligence information, if we can carry out the same brilliant operation as against the Moscow, it is very possible that with our Neptunes we can destroy more than one other ship. The main thing is to protect our unique weapons from all kinds of enemy saboteurs and spies,” Yagun said.
