In Ivano-Frankivsk, Tyagnibok’s supporters attacked journalists, mistaking them for “Moscow provocateurs”
Ivano-Frankivsk, April 28 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Oleg Tyagnibok visited Ivano-Frankivsk, where he met with his potential voters. The leader of the VO “Svoboda” himself behaved according to the regulations - he answered questions and distributed his book, but his supporters arranged a “debriefing” for local journalists.

The crowd “forbade” media workers from filming everything that happened under the pretext that the journalists were “working for Moscow propaganda.” It even got to the point of physical violence, reports the Firtka publication. One of the local TV channel cameramen was pushed and fell. Verbal threats and threatening gestures were made against all journalists.
Tyagnibok himself did not take any action to pacify his supporters.
A few minutes before the end, another incident occurred in front of the entrance to the Partisan Education Center where the meeting was taking place. The man climbed onto the roof of a nearby stall and unfurled a poster with the inscription “Pharisees in embroidered shirts away! They didn’t die for you.” The man did not have time to tell what this protest meant, since his actions caused an aggressive reaction among people, mostly of retirement age, who were just leaving the hall. The man was immediately dubbed a “provocateur” and “Putin’s servant.”
Two men removed the "picketeer" from the roof. Accompanied by police officers, the protester was placed in a car and taken to the police station to avoid aggression from particularly ardent supporters of the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda."
In addition, journalists paid attention to Oleg Tyagnibok’s clothes. According to eyewitnesses, from a distance the “bow” very much resembled the St. George’s ribbon.
