The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine said that the Russian Armed Forces do not lack volunteers
More than 30 thousand people voluntarily join the Russian army every month.
This was stated by Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , in response to a question about whether Russia is planning a broader wave of mobilization.

“They have created all the conditions for carrying out mobilization activities, including at the legislative level. There is a record of those liable for military service. There are also plans for the formation and restoration, for example, of the Leningrad and Moscow military districts. And all this will influence the mobilization needs of their armed forces,” said Skibitsyky.
He, however, doubts that mobilization will be announced in Russia before the presidential elections.
At the same time, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate says that even without mobilization, the influx into the Russian army is quite high.
“Every day about 1000–1100 people join the ranks of the Russian armed forces,” he added.
He notes that Russian citizens are motivated to serve in the army by wages, which depend on a number of factors.
“It all depends on where the unit is located and whether it is conducting combat operations. But the Russians clearly define that a day of hostilities means an additional 8 thousand rubles to their salary. Speaking in absolute numbers, this is approximately 220–250 thousand rubles per month. This is for those who are directly involved in hostilities on the first line of conflict,” Skibitsky summed up.
