“Today, 07.06.14/16.00/XNUMX, at approximately XNUMX, in the center of Donetsk, at the intersection of Pushkin Ave. and Teatralny Ave., Denis Pushilin’s assistant, Maxim Petrukhin, was shot dead from a machine gun. Maxim drove his own car to the building of the DPR Government House after negotiations. At the moment, details are being established,” the DPR press service said.
According to DPR representatives, Maxim Petrukhin was shot from a passing minibus. About 15 shots were fired. The city has announced the “Interception” plan.
“Chairman of the DPR Supreme Council Denis Pushilin was at his workplace in the Government House building during the assassination attempt on Maxim Petrukhin,” the DPR stated.
As Navigator reported, after the referendum on self-determination of the Luhansk region, an attempt was made on the life of the leader of the Luhansk rebels, Valery Bolotov. The LPR blamed Kyiv.
