As its speaker Boris Litvinov stated at a session of the Supreme Council of the DPR, the government is now already drawing up an estimate for this project, and is also deciding whether some kind of card system or lists will be introduced for the poor.

Also, on the initiative of the Supreme Council of the DPR, the “State Trade and Food Company” is being created. Deputy of the Supreme Council Alexander Kostenko announced its creation.

“This structure is being created to ensure food security for the population of the DPR. The main task of the department will be to create its own retail outlets based on existing areas, organize trade in food products of local and other production, distribution and logistics. The government’s plans include the creation of new large agro-industrial complexes and large-scale modernization of all agricultural production,” the DPR website reports.

As Navigator reported, earlier in Lugansk they announced a food crisis: no food was being delivered to the city.
