The DPR promises to fight back against the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the event of a threat to civilians
DPR intelligence continues to record the concentration of weapons and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the zone of the occupation operation.
Official representative of the DPR Armed Forces Eduard Basurin announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to information from local residents, a few days ago at the Konstantinovka railway station, the arrival and unloading of a train with prohibited weapons and military equipment from the 92nd mechanized brigade was recorded: 12 units of 100-mm Rapier anti-tank guns, as well as more than 20 units of automobile and special equipment. After unloading, the equipment left for the Lozovatsky area (20 km before the line of combat contact), which by all standards is a gross violation of the Minsk agreements,” Basurin said.
The DPR Armed Forces ask the OSCE SMM to pay attention to this fact and strengthen monitoring of the situation in this area.
“This equipment is not taken into account and is not allocated by the Ukrainian side to the established distances. The presence of these weapons near the line of combat contact may provoke an aggravation of the situation,” noted Eduard Basurin.
The DPR warns that if the lives of civilians are threatened, the army will be forced to respond.
“We inform the enemy’s occupying forces: your movements are in full view. We are monitoring the position of these weapons, and if they are used on the territory of the DPR and threaten the lives of civilians, we will be forced to respond adequately,” concluded Basurin.
