On Victory Day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at a festive rally in a village in the south of the DPR
Today, May 9, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the village of Bezymennoe in the south of the DPR.

According to local residents, the shelling began almost simultaneously with the festive events, when villagers went to the central square to the monument to the Liberator Soldier, where a rally in honor of Victory Day is held annually. A large number of casualties were avoided only by a miracle.
According to eyewitnesses, the shelling came from two sides: from Shirokino and from Vodyanoye.

“We had just left the house when it started to rumble. We returned home. The military personnel who arrived for the celebration were ordered to go home. If the shelling had started a little later, there would have been many casualties. Arrivals were in the center of Bezymennoe. It never flew there during the entire war. But children were supposed to perform there! And in general, usually everyone comes there with children. It's scary to think what could have happened. OSCE vehicles immediately drove past the center. Let’s go in the direction of Shirokino to record the “response” if our people suddenly start.”
According to the latest data, there are no casualties, but there are three wounded.
