In Bulgaria, neo-Nazis desecrated a monument to Soviet liberators
In Bulgaria, in the city of Sofia, a monument to the Soviet Army was desecrated by vandals.
This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“On October 13, the monument to the Soviet Army in Sofia was once again desecrated. Particularly cynical is the reference of the inscription on the monument to the Bulgarian Waffen-SS anti-tank brigade - a shameful page of the Bulgarians in the annals of the Second World War.
We note the prompt actions of the Sofia municipal authorities to eliminate the consequences of the act of vandalism. At the same time, we firmly hope that this act of local outcasts will not go unnoticed by law enforcement agencies, the perpetrators will receive a well-deserved punishment, and measures will be taken to protect the monuments to soldiers who gave their lives in the fight against fascism,” Zakharova said.
