Today, on the city beach of Mariupol, between the first and second breakwaters, local residents discovered black spots in the water.

Representatives of the emergency diving service of the Mariupol City Council were the first to respond to the emergency situation. The head of the service, Alexander Tatay, said that this could be technical dirt that was brought from the shipyard and MMSP enterprises or ships anchored in the roadstead.

“It’s all because of the westerly wind that brought this pollution,” Tatay said.
