The former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Your representatives go to international councils, press conferences, including NATO, where the question of access to certain standards and data exchanges arises. Are there any restrictions on access to certain requirements that limit the choice of the right movement in terms of optimizing control systems for our robotic systems or aircraft complexes?” – asked the moderator of the meeting.
“Of course there is,” replied the general. “Their views on secrecy, on technical and not only technical secrets, there are questions for our side in this sense.”
“We know, for example, that American artillery fire and counter-battery systems that fell to the enemy, and some other cases that took place. And on their part, questions arise regarding certain weapons and developments, their samples, which they transfer to us; they would like unconditional secrecy and secrecy to be ensured. This involves difficult issues and difficult cooperation with them,” said Romanenko.
