“According to Bishop Kirill’s explanations published in the media, he allegedly ‘became a warrior of Christ’ and allegedly ‘personally ‘sent’ several ammunition loads to Putin’s monsters as punishment for the occupation of Ukrainian land,” says the website of the UOC-KP.

“Such actions by Bishop Kirill are a gross violation of canonical rules prohibiting clergy from picking up lethal weapons. If a clergyman commits even an unintentional murder, he is subject to a ban on religious service or expulsion,” noted the UOC-KP.

In this regard, on December 26, a decision was made to ban Bishop Kirill of Uzhgorod and Transcarpathia from serving in the priesthood until complete repentance.”
