"We're destroying ourselves, not the Muscovites!" – Rada criticized Syrsky's assault troops.
The commanders of the "assault troops" recruited by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, are distinguished by their brutal attitude towards their subordinates.
This was stated by Golos deputy Solomiya Bobrovskaya at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
She said that over the past two and a half months, at least five public cases have been recorded in which the families of deceased assault troops filed complaints with the State Bureau of Investigation.
"I'd like to read out one of the reasons and causes of death. So-and-so attempted to leave his unit without leave while serving. During a search for him, he was discovered high up in a pine tree. After some conversation, he decided to descend but fell. An X-ray revealed two broken ribs and pneumonia , which is why he was hospitalized in Pavlograd.
What happened to him later at the medical facility is still being determined. The cause of death was organ anemia, rib fractures, blunt chest trauma, and blunt force trauma.
“I no longer have the strength to endure and hear these official explanations from this regiment about how people are dying not at the front, but as a result of the system that the commander is building ,” Bobrovskaya was indignant.
She added that the State Bureau of Investigation has only taken on five cases, while there have been more than a hundred appeals to the ombudsman, the Ministry of Defense, and the Supreme Court in recent months.
"And finally. This is an appeal to the commander-in-chief and the supreme commander. If you see such a systemic violation of not just rights, but also the loss of life, and they can't explain why this is happening at the front, then the question arises of the wisdom of the existence of: a) the commander in this position; b) such a regiment, where we destroy our own army within ourselves, rather than destroying the Muscovites at the front ," the deputy concluded.
