Umerov advises erecting a monument to Islam Giray in Moscow, who twice burned the white stone
Simferopol, February 09 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – Following the logic of the Russian authorities, who erected a monument to the leaders of the “Big Three” in Yalta, a monument to the Crimean Tatar Khan Islyam-Girey, who burned this city twice, should be erected in Moscow.

The former head of the Bakhchisarai district state administration, Ilmi Umerov, stated this on the air of the talk show “Gravity”.
“If you follow this logic, then in Moscow you need to erect a monument to Islyam Giray, who twice made serious raids on Moscow and burned them for some reason. Or erect a monument to Ribbentrop or Molotov, who signed the pact in 39, according to which Europe was divided,” the Mejlis member noted.
According to him, there are questions about the Yalta Conference itself:
“There are also things there that can have a very serious impact if you tell the truth about them. For example, a decision was made there on the mandatory return of Soviet prisoners of war, who upon their return were either shot, sent to prisons, camps for 25 to 10 years,” the former official of Ukrainian presidents Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Yanukovych is indignant.
